I was married then, but my heart just melted everytime he waked into the room.Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I met a guy about 3 years ago, and he swept me off of my feet. I was married then, but my heart just melted everytime he waked into the room. We worked together, and side by side for 10 hours a day. He knew more about me and my feelings than my husband ever cared about. I wrote him a note about 3 months after we met just to let him know how I felt, and nothing was said everything was the same. Well the cmpany we worked for closed, and we had to say good-bye. Six months later I talk to him and he tells me that he is getting married, and that they are expecting a child. So then again we say good-bye. I then talked to him when his daughter was born and he was very excited and happy. Well just the other day I see him and he is in the middle of a divorce, and I am excited. I just don'tknow how to go about telling him how I feel, and I don't want to get hurt either.........I need some serious advice!!!! Our Suggestion: I'm taking by your statement, "I was married then" that you are no longer married. In that case, since the two of you are both free to date, then you have the perfect opportunity to become a close friend, and then move it closer still. Take it slowly -- he's in the middle of a divorce and so he'll be rather unsettled. He'll need time to get over it. But, you can be friends with him while he's recovering. You don't need to tell him how you feel right now, he'll get a clue as time goes on. Now as to not getting hurt, those are just the rules of the road. People get hurt all the time, but we continue to risk it in order to have the happiness that makes it all worthwhile. I wouldn't move in too quickly on your guy because he won't be wanting a relationship for a while. I wish you the best. You'll do fine. --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
