Getting Over a SoulmateSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I split up with my boyfriend in October, after a two and a half year relationship. We were soul mates, but unfortunately I wasn't able to put up with his unreasonable behaviour. BUT! I still love him and miss him, although I know I made the right decision, so, help please. I feel I'm over the worst, but I need to know how to look forward and not think of him! Hard one, any advice, I would appreciate! Many thanks. Our Suggestion: Believe me, I know exactly how you feel. There are some guys (and girls) out there in the world that just seem like they would be SO perfect if just they weren't so obnoxious in one particular area. Unfortunately, one of those life lessons that we all have to learn is that you can *NOT* change a person. That annoying part of them is simply part of them, and if it's serious enough, it means you move on. On the bright side, there are of course millions and millions of single people out there. And some percentage of them will share all of the good traits of that guy - so in a way you've already learned what it is about a guy that really attracts you. Now it's a matter of finding another guy who has those good traits but without the nasty trait. And really, he does exist. I've seen this happen many times. So look forward to finding him, and make sure you take the steps TO find him. Don't just hide out at home. Go out and do things you like, with your friends or on your own. Do things that make you happy. When you're happy, people are drawn to you, and that guy will be there for you :) --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
