The fact that you're so unsettled and unhappy just goes to show that you were too young... which doesn't help you now that you've gone ahead and done it. But it doesn't mean you need to do it again anytime soon. You should wait until you are mentally ready, and not just because your boyfriend wanted you to do it. Are you able to raise a kid if you were to get pregnant? If not, then you shouldn't be having sex. If you are bleeding a lot (like equal to your normal period) then yes you need to get checked out by a doctor. Your doctor will respect your privacy and not tell your parents. But you might want to ask first... "my friend just lost her virginity, would you as doctors feel obligated to tell her parents?" People's reactions after their first time of sex are wildly different. Some feel triumphant like they just won a contest. Some feel guilty because their religion forbids sex before marriage. Some feel gloriously in love because they committed to their boyfriend for life. Some just feel confused because it didn't live up to their expectations of what it should feel like. You are perfectly normal in how you feel about it all. I wish you the best. Jenn --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
