Cheating and Short RelationshipsSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: i was with a guy for about 3 months and everything was going great until i left on vacations for 3 weeks and when i came back a week later he told me that he cheated on me, so we broke up, what did that mean? and how can i stop liking him? Our Suggestion: Three months is a pretty short relationship, and it sounds like he really wasn't that committed when you left. He didn't seem to feel that much remorse about being with someone else. He in essence wasn't ready to settle down and when he had another opportunity, he took it. You can try to get back together if you want, but the fact that he cheated on you is going to be there. You'll have to rebuild that trust, so that you don't worry about it every time you go anywhere after that. But on the other hand, if he was willing to go with someone else as soon as you were gone, maybe you two really weren't meant for each other. If he was really serious about you, he would have waited. You can have sex any time, but a serious relationship is pretty rare. If he chose sex over your relationship, it doesn't show that he valued your relationship much. It might be time to find someone who DOES really value a relationship with you, and who you can trust and love in return. --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
