Asking Him to the Prom Suggest Advice Do you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: well the thing is me and my boyfriend have been dating for over 5 months yet i still have a problem asking him things i guess you can say i get kinda shy still. he and i know where going to prom together but i want to ask him to my prom. (we both go to diffrent high schools) how can i ask him and what is the best way if someone can please help me i would love that. thank you for your time. Our Suggestion: I guess first you know that I'm going to say you really have to learn to talk to each other :) It's REALLY really important in a relationship and if you don't practice now on the relatively little things it's just going to be harder when you really *do* have to talk about something more serious. So anyway look at this as practice in being able to talk to your boyfriend :) You know he wouldn't say no and make you go with another guy! If it makes it easier on you, make it into a more courtly situation instead of just a normal one so it's sort of fun.
