Visitor's Question: I liked this guy for 6 months now and so far, nothing happen .. we're not even friends.. close friend. First, I saw him and I thought that he was so handsome. Then I tried to ignore him because I thought he was too handsome. Then one day out of no where near Valentine day, he came to the library and sit next to me then said to our friends that took same class with us, "...something...that's why I love her." That time we never talked yet but while I smiled at my friends, he always show his face up and smiled back to me as if I smiled at him first. Then he ask to help me carrying a guitar to a class. Then he ask me 2 times to walk someplace with him. We never had a chance to talk --really talk -- because everytime we are together, his friend or my friend always came to say hi to us and stay there with us the whole time. It seems like he likes me but one time, I saw his best friend who is a girl sat on his lap. He didn't see me at that time. Then my birthday came and I invited him to my party but he didn't come and no present, too. I gave him my phone number, in case he wanted a direction to the party. Then there were many school breaks, but he never called. I thought he doesn't like me; that's why he didn't call. However, last Tuesday, even though we don't have same class this quarter, we accidently met on a hall way and he just ran to me like he was so excited. I felt so glad to meet him and we talked few words then his guy friends stoped and talk to him. For some reason, I wanted to talk to him so bad and I have time but I just walked away after saw them talking for a while. I get really nervous when I'm around him. The question is .. I don't know if he likes me or not. How can I find out? I would hate to see him go out with someone else. On the other hand, I don't want to ask him if he likes me and he said no. I want to see him next year because we'll have same class next year. What should I do? Our Suggestion: You're in the same boat as thousands of other people. "Does he like me?" is the number one question on this board. (closely followed by, "I want my ex back!") He clearly likes you already. The question is, how much? So when you're in class with him, get closer to him by talking with him more. When you're friends, it's much easier to slide into a relationship.
