I started talking to my best friends ex boyfriend, just to become friends, nothing more. I started to develop feelings for him, and he feels the same for me.

My best friend believes in the "u dont date your best friends ex" rule. I really like this guy, but I care about my best friend, what should i do? forget about him, betray her or what, im really confused!

Yikes, if you start a relationship by sleeping around with your best friend's boyfriend, there is nowhere but down to go from there. This guy will never trust you going forward - after all you cheated once, on a best friend. How can he trust you to not cheat on him as soon as you have the chance? This will damage your entire relationship basis. Relationships should always be founded on honesty and trust - not on deception and betrayal.

You two already made a huge mistake by playing fast and loose with emotions when you should not have. Don't perpetuate the mistake by making it even worse. If you two ever have a chance, it will be because he breaks up with his girlfriend ON HIS OWN and then after a few months of rebound decides to be with you. If you can't wait, then it's not a relationship that is worth it - it's only about lust.
