Getting my Ex Back

Suggest Advice

Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
My boyfriend and I broke up about 5 months ago after a 2 year relationship. It was mutual. We're in college and I thought that I needed to experience new things and he did too. I had a small crush on another guy and it totally freaked me out. I also didnt think it was possible to spend the rest of my life with my first boyfriend. So I thought I should see if there might be someone else out there for me.

I have done alot of thinking and am 100% postive that he is the one I want to be with for the rest of my life. I love him now more than ever. I kind of told him all these things but he told me he was over me. He had lied before about being over me. He doesnt act like he is though. I want to tell him exactly how I feel and want the feelings to be mutual.

Should I write it out and send it to him? Call him? Stop by his house? I dont know what to do! I love him and really need some advice.I know this sounds corny but I truly believe that he is the one for me. How can I rebuild the trust that he may have lost in me b/c I doubted our relationship?

*Every* person in a relationship has moments of doubt. If you never doubted or always thought things were perfect, that would be when I would be concerned. Relationships have ups and downs. It's especially common for people in high school and college to want to try out other relationships to make sure what they have is truly what they want out of life. So none of those things should be "bad". They are just normal parts of life.
