Getting to know a basketball playerSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Its about this girl that I knew existed for a long time. I just never spoked to her or got close to her in any way. She plays in the same Basketball team as I do (ofcourse she plays in the girls team and I in the boys team, so we don't play matches together or have trainigs together besides in the summer). Well this summer our team had summer trainings so everybody from the team from all age groups were able to practise together. And so I did, and sometimes I went there when she was there. At some exercises she chosed to be with me (I guess thats something a least). And then one time I got responsibility to close the training "arena" and make sure all doors were locked and everything was clean and that stuff. I decided to stay there and practise and close the "arena" later. Some guys took the opportunity to stay there and practise, and she stayed there too. She wanted me to play with her and some friends 3 on 3 (don't know if it was because she was interested ín me). And later there was this training camp, which every player in the club that wants can join. Me and many other guys from the club did and so did she. Well, I decided to talk to her, she answered and smiled looked a bit interested, and next day I also talked to her and we talk for a while, I even went to the shop with her and we talked on the way to the shop and the way back. Im very unsure if she's interested In me but i wanna find out. I wanna know her better get a chance too talk with her more, if you know what Im meaning. So Ive broked the ice, but what know? I don't know her number or where she lives or if she's even likes me at all. I will probably meet her at some training, but it could be months from now. And I will probably meet her in a basketball arena, IF I meet her again, which is very possible. And is a basketball arena really a good place too flirt in? Do you have any tips of how to flirt in a basketball arena then :P ?? She is 17 and I am 15 is that a too big difference? One thing I could do is watch one of her matches or trainings and talk to her after it, but what should I say to her? And if I wait too long she maybe forgets me! Please help me, any kind of help I am very grateful to receive! Sorry for my bad english and if the question was a bit long... Our Suggestion: It certainly sounds like she might be interested in you. However, the age difference might be a problem. By asking around, you should be able to find out what her telephone number is. Give her a call and talk about how her basketball team is shaping up this year. Have some topics to bring up if conversation seems to stall. When you say you have to go, ask if you can call her again sometime. If she says it's ok to call her again, wait two days to give her time to think about how she feels. During the second conversation make sure she knows you are 15 and see if it makes a difference to her. If your preference is to talk to her at a basketball practise, you could certainly do that instead. She will appreciate the attention. Good luck, George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
