Boyfriend is still jealous

My name is K and i am 19 and I just recently started seeing my ex boyfriend again...We were together for 6 years off and on...Since March of 2003 we have been breaking up and getting back together like every 3 months...In between us breaking up I have been seeing this other guy that I have told my ex about..BAD IDEA! He just cant seem to get over it..We just started talking again like a week and a half ago and he just brings it up all the time..And we both get all upset over the past. I know that its gonna take him some time to get over it but how do we deal with this? He has done the same thing to me 2 times just as I have to him..We have both broke up with eachother 2 times to be with some one else. The difference is that I "forgive and forget" and he doesnt. What do we do?

Getting over jealousy is not an easy thing for anyone to do. If your boyfriend could get some counseling, he might be helped to see the reasons he is jealous. Often jealousy is caused by feelings of low self esteem and fear of abandonment.
