Christian beliefsSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I've been friends with a guy for about two months now. We see each other nearly everyday at college and work at the same place [although different shifts] so have got to know eachother really well. We have a great deal in common and share some friends both in and out of college. Unfortunately, he is quite a popular guy with the ladies; he's not a player at all or particularly attractive, but he has lots of charisma. I know at least three other girls who like him and two of them I'm just getting to be friends with, although my other friends say that he flirts with me more than them and I am better friends with him than they are. I flirt with him and he usually flirts back, although I'm not sure that he's interested in that way. I'm really not sure how to show that I like him without actually having to tell him [I'm a wuss!] and also, I'm not sure if I should persue this, as I would feel a bit mean towards the others who like him as well. Also, I am a Christian and he isn't. Although I have no problems with Non-Christians I'm not sure if I want to be in a relationship with one as I am looking for something fairly long-term and I don't want to impose my beliefs on him but I don't want to compromise them either. I'm complicated aren't I?! Our Suggestion: The only way to make progress with him is to get over your shyness and just tell him. Don't feel sorry for the other girls, they have their chances too. However, I am confused. If your Christian beliefs are so important, why would you want to enter a possible long term relationship with a non-Christian?
