Visitor's Question: Hi, I've been with my b/f for 4 months and he puts up with alot of me.For a long time I've had a problem admitting I'm wrong about things and would never listen to him and try to change.When he would talk to me I'd try to listen but it would go in one ear and out hte other and now he's just left me straight out and said he'll take me back once I change the way I act.I've had plenty of time rediscovering my self and seeing the things I do wrong but he says he won't take me back until I show him I've changed but I argue with him and say if u cared about me then you'd stay with me while I change and help me out not take a break!and then I say to him what does he want me to do when another guy comes along and asks me if I have a man?because out of my loyalty to him even though were taking a break I won't get with anyone else and he says the saem so whats his point and intentions on doing this? Our Suggestion: Sorry you are in this predicament. I seriously doubt if you can change your ways "under the gun" so to speak. He should be willing to help you work through your problems. But you need to find a way to show him that you really recognize that you have a problem so he believes you. Perhaps start by using the phrase "you are right."
