So any sort of generic gift like "chocolates" or "a card" is meaningless because that is something that millions of people get for millions of other people. It says nothing at all about why you and he are so special together. So sit down and think about you two. What do you guys love to do together? What is his favorite hobby in the whole world? Get a present that *shows* that you've been paying attention to him this past year and know his loves and dreams. If he loves Spider Man Comic Books, get him a collector's edition. If he loves mustang cars, buy him a book on them.
