Visitor's Question: I work with a woman who has a husbund in the navy. they have only seen each other a total of 4 weeks during the time they have been married. Whenever we hang out together we will feed, kiss, and talk romanticly to each other. And to top it all off she was in a dream I had the night before I met Her. Should I continue seeing her? Our Suggestion: You're in essence telling me that you're having an affair with this women. I don't think that's a good idea at all. Long distance relationships are very hard to begin with, and she's a married woman. So if you were her friend, you'd support her in her commitment. Instead, you are helping her betray her vow to another person. And she's proven to you that if something better comes along, she's willing to forget about promises and vows and do whatever feels good to her. That's not someone you would then want in your own life, to have to trust. You need to sit down with her and say that you're not willing to be part of a deceptive relationship any more. She can choose to be with you, being honest with her husband and divorcing him and then promising to be true to you. You'd have to of course trust her, that her version of "true to you" is much better than what she's so far proven herself to be capable of. More likely, she considers you a fun distraction while her husband is away and would balk at the idea of actually leaving him and making this "real". Either way, being in an affair isn't fair to anyone. You deserve someone that is really 100% for you. She has responsibilities that she is not living up to.
