Get him to go to an abuse clinicSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hi there. My name is Carol. I would really appreciate your advice. A year ago I fell in love with my neighbour and he with me too. At the time he was married but separated from his drug abusive wife. His wife knew about us and accepted the fact that it was over between them (long before he even met me). A month ago, I arrived home from work and found he had stolen a number of things from my home. I was devastated by his actions. Two days later he called me and admitted to his wrong doing and apologising profusely. I accepted his apology but told him that my children wouldn't allow it for him to come back into our home (my children are ages 19 and 20). He now stays with his sister and texts or phones me every day saying he is still very much in love with me, wants me back in his life and misses me. I have moved to a new suburb but I still miss and love him tremendously. Everyone tells me to move on and start my life over but I can't. I miss being with him that sometimes whilst I'm driving home from work, the tears can't stop falling. The ache in my heart is too deep. I miss his smell and his soft voice. I MISS HIM. He confided in me that he is a crack addict. I would never have guessed it. I have now been offered the job of a lifetime (at the coast) away from city life. He wants to come with me but that would mean leaving my children behind (who are both working).. Please could you give me some direction as at the moment I'm feeling torn between the three people I love most in my life. Our Suggestion: He needs treatment that you can't provide. He needs to go to a health clinic and break his habit. Then, and only then, he can come out to the coast. Good luck, George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
