Figuring out how to keep up a lieSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I have a huge problem. I've been with my boyfriend for 9 years and we're engaged to be married this July. I recently went on a cruise with a bunch of my friends and I cheated on him with this guy from my hometown. I exchanged numbers with this guy and I told him all about my fiance. We spoke on the phone once, but I wasn't interested in him at all, I only thought of him as a fling and he acted like I was the same, meaning he didn't seem like he wanted to be with me or continue anything afterwards. So, months later my fiance's friend tells him that he ran into a guy that was on the same cruise and he hooked up with me and knew everything about my relationship like how long we've been together and when we're getting married. He confronted me about it and I denied it because he would leave me for sure or never trust me again. I've cheated on him years ago and told him about it, but I can't again. The wierd thing is is that this guy is saying a different name from the guy that I met and I have no idea why he's saying anything at all. My fiance said he's going to try and get his number and find out why he's saying these things and to see if I'm lying. I know that this is really evil, but I have to keep up with the lie but I don't know how. I cry and he says I act guilty, I get upset he says I'm guilty. If he gets this guy's number he wants me to talk to him to, but I'm still going to lie. Is there anyway this guy can prove it? I need this to be over and I want my fiance to drop it and not try to get in touch with this guy. How can I lie? Our Suggestion: The only honorable thing to do is to admit it. Expect the worse... most guys are not going to forgive multiple times and especially so close to a wedding. You screwed up and I can't advise you on how to lie.
