Lover's quarrel leads to miserySuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: My boyfriend and i met my freshman year of college and were together for almost a year and a half. We lived together and did everything together. Throughout our relationship, we have both made mistakes. I most definitely have the more dominating personality and I found myself constantly criticizing him and leaving him even though this is not how i really felt. Our last fight was a pretty bad one and I told him that I didn't ever want to be with him again in a moment of anger and he said the same. Still angry that night, I went out with another guy and kissed him. We have since spoken and decided to be friends. The whole time, I knew that I missed him, but I just wanted to take a break. Tomorrow is Valentines Day, though and he is going out with another girl. He told me a little about her and says we will have to "see what happens," but he also told me that he is leaving open the door for us. I really feel like he is only going out with her because he is hurt that i went out with another guy the same night that we broke up. I have decided to see a psychologist to deal with how I am feeling, but I need to know if you think it's possible that he will really like this girl or if it is just to get revenge on me. What should I do?? Our Suggestion: You are doing a good thing by seeing a psychologist... you can find more out about yourself and your relationships that way. Regarding your ex-- it seems a rather positive situation than many I've heard about. Try to keep on good terms with him and see what happens.
