Jealous of friend Suggest Advice Do you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hi, My mother in law 'to be' is going out with this man for 3years now and he has a son that got married recently, and i know his wife because we are friends! Ok thing is this girl has no "real" relationship with my mother in law ie. she is not her daughter in law! yet i get very jealous and almost heartbroken at the fact that she calls her mammy and my mother in law calls her daughter! i am not saying that i dont get on with my mother in law because i really do, we are very close yet this girl is alot closer, i understand she has been thru more (she lost a baby and is preg again) and thats why i would never harm their relationship. am i been stupid? why does this matter so much to me? we decided to build a house and she decided to get preg and yet again the "spotlight" was off us straight away! am i jealous of her, but how can i be if i really like her too? why do i care? any advice for me? annmarie Our Suggestion: You are naturally jealous of the relationship because you want to have a closer relationship yourself.
