We spent the better half of our first year together apart since he was away at school. But we decided to make it work. He took an entire year before he told me he loved me. He asked me first what I thought the word meant and we agreed that so many people throw the word around like it's nothing. So we both knew that when we said it, it would be for real. Well we did in August and we had a great relationship. Now he is going back to school (local) and he may be placed for a job in another state. He asked if I would go and I said I would unless I had a good job here or if I wasn't finished with school. And he was so happy I said yes. Well unfortunatly he and I, whom have never fought other than stupid stuff every once in a while broke up. He told me he needed time. I have no idea what to do because he broke up with me and then told me he loved me and maybe it wasn't a good idea and then on Friday he decided he wanted too. I told him I wasn't going to talk him out of it or beg, but I needed to tell him what I thought and I did. He always runs. When he told me he liked me and wanted to go out he left. Didn't wait for a reply. When he told me he loved me he got into his car and left. So this shouldn't come as any surprise but I don't know if I should try to get back in his life or let him be. But since he pushes people away I feel that I only have a limited time. Please help. Our Suggestion: This is peculiar behavior from him. I can't imagine where he is coming from since he is full of mixed messages. Only you can decide whether you want to take the risk of pursuing him and letting him go.
