If you love someone let them goSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: My ex and I broke up last October (dated for two years). We did remain friends and hung out. Yes, the whole situation was new and did require alot of adjustments. At the time of the breakup, we both misunderstood each other and in a way, took each other for granted. I made the call. A couple of months in the beginning, she tried hard to get me back but I kept pushing her away. But I never stopped loving her. Later in December, I started to not deny my heart, but she was actually getting better on being "single" In January, I couldnt go on being friends realizing that I do love her. I asked her for a second chance. She said that she was not ready for a relationship but wanted my friendship. Said that she wasn't ready to let go. I asked if she loves me. She told me that she did not know. That tore me up even further. So I decided to let go. From an old saying "If you love someone, let them go, If they come back, it was meant to be" The thing is, it has been two solid months of no contacts. I am doing my very best to move on and make a life of myself (priorities and goals) I still love her and I am having a hard time thinking if I did the right thing by letting her go. I want to know if I am on the right track. I do have hope that maybe in the future we do talk again at least better than nothing at all. Thank you. Our Suggestion: My advice is to stick with your decision to let her go. She made it quite clear that she was ready to move on and you should respect that. You are right, maybe someday you'll be able to talk together. But, you are the one who has to decide. Listen to your heart and what it tells you.
