Visitor's Question:
Hi,
I've known this girl since september 2002 and basically a common friend introduced us two because i told her that i fancied this girl. Well we got to know each other really well and like became really close and it was easy for me to tell her how I felt about her. Slowly over the year we drifted and became further and further apart. Then at a social annual function I saw her again and I realised how much I still like her, and the feeling for her which have always been there. So in october 2004 I started talking to her again as much as we did before and tried to rebuild what we had lost. At this point I actually think I am in love with this girl she is just so perfect for me in every single way. Then I asked her if she has a boyfriend and to my disastrous horror she said "yes" I was just so shocked and urgh i dno, VERY upset because i was about to ask her out. Previosuly when we were so close i never acatully officially asked her out. Well now she has a boyfriend and she knows that I really like/love her. She has asked me on several occassions how i feel about her as well, but i dont know how she feels about me truly either. The thing is that she doesn't go to my school or anything and we hardly ever get the chance to meet up...we're more like "msn" buddies and all i want to do is just see her...Well the dilemma is that on msn...its always me that has to start the conversation and ask if she wants to meet up "as mates"....all my mates say i should just let her be, and i try to but i just cant do it becasue i like her so much. I don't know what to do, should i keep doing what i do or shall i gradually decrease the amount i talk to her?? Please help me out! (sorry for the "8-page novel"...bt i thought if i explained the situation it could help you in helping me)

Our Suggestion:
If she asks tell her that you care for her a lot.

Beyond that, you are putting too many eggs into a msn basket. It is unlikely to go far partly because she has a boyfriend and you are long distance.

My advice is to back off from this relationship and try to find someone nearer to home.

Good luck!
George
