Long eye contactSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I recently attended a concert and there met an individual that I had known some thirty years ago but not well. His father was a teacher of mine and he often helped teach also. We met backstage and I was definitely nervous and shy but managed to show him my two grown children's pictures. After this, he stared at my eyes and my eyes met his. This was not just a few seconds but longer and it has bothered me. I'm not sure why this happened but there must've been a reason. I took my eyes off first and was quite embarassed. Afther this encounter I noticed him in deep thought. I feel guilty too and hope he doesn't see me as a "psycho". I know it was wrong as we both have separate lives/married and live in totally different states. I understand maybe I am being hard on myself and should learn from this encounter. Why did this happen I am wondering. Were we both awestruck? Was there an attraction? It definitely was not aggravation or anger~ I may never see him again but sure wouldn't want him to dislike me within his thoughts. Guess I should applaud myself to be the one to withdraw my eyes from his first. Thank you for any help with this one Our Suggestion: Who can explain these random occurences in life? You were both a little nervous and perhaps a bit flustered. The eye contact could mean that you were attracted to each other or it could mean that neither of you could think of something to say. Don't worry yourself about this. Just write it off as a slice of life. Good luck, George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
