Boyfriend trying to find ex's phone number Suggest Advice Do you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: What to do? I have been dating my boyfriend for a year and a half. He told me that he hasn't talked to his ex for a year. Then I find out that he has been trying to find her via old phone numbers and the white pages. He says it has nothing to do with him and I but it does. It would be different if he was talking to her all along but out of the blue he is obsessed with trying to find her. Am I wrong in feeling hurt? Our Suggestion: Ask him why he wants to find his ex's phone number. If he is upfront about the reason and you find it acceptable then drop the issue. If he refuses to talk about it then you have a problem on your hands. No good relationship can last long without honest, open communications on matters that conern each of the couple.
