Is he shy?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: There is this guy in my class that I like. We did talk quite a bit. I told this other girl in my class and she kept trying to get him to ask me to homecoming, but that's not what I wanted, I just wanted to know if he liked me too. He just looked embarrassed about the whole thing. I read in all the magazines that guys like it when girls make the first move, so when my friend asked me I she could to the guy I liked him I said yes. When she told me that she did it, suddenly she smiles when we passed each other stopped and he wouldn't talk to me anymore. I tried to prompt conversations but all I would get is a one word answer and that was it. I got so tired of it and stopped talking to him. It's been months now and I still haven't talked to him knowing that it would be weird to suddenly start talking again, and knowing that he knows I still like him. I don't know what to do. I still like him, and I barely know him. He doesn't seem to want to talk to me. But we sometimes still exchange smiles when we pass, and today I even got a small wave. I always thought that maybe he did like me and he was just really shy about it and didn't know what to say to a girl that likes him, but I could be horribly wrong. I was thinking about just flat out asking him if he has any sort of feelings for me and if I said no I would leave him alone forever, but that might scare him off even farther, and I would need to work of the courage to do it. What do you suggest I do? Our Suggestion: It sounds like he is shy. So, you have nothing to lose by asking him how he feels for you. He may think you are mad at him now so perhaps the best way to do this is to walk up to him and say in a gentle voice "I am developing feelings for you again. How do you feel about me?"
