I told him how unhappy I was like all the timeSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: My boyfriend of 2 months (I know not that long) broke up with me a month ago. But this is so different. I felt like he was my first love. Even if we only knew each other for 6 months approx. And even if I did have another ex bf for a year and a half. This one I had the strongest feelings for. Well he broke up with me because on several reasons that were pretty vague to the real truth (I would think). 1. He felt like he worked better alone and focused better 2. He had so much problems (debt, self-esteem, etc) and felt like he didn't want me to be involved (which I still think is BS) 3. He kept thinking about the future and that "we wouldn't be together for so long". It just still hasn't gotten through me. He wanted to remain friends with me because he said I was the first girl that has ever treated him "good". And that he suffered so many relationships in the past. BLAH I did so much and gave so much effort and he didn't put in as much. And well even though he didn't I still ignored it. Now he broke up with me and I find it kind of a good thing but horrible. I miss him so much. And we still talk online. And now I feel like I drove him away cause I told him how unhappy I was like all the time. I don't know what to do. I still think we should be together. Our Suggestion: You are in a reasonably good position since you still talk to him. Explain to him what you wrote above and ask him if he would be willing to give your relationship another chance. It sounds like he appreciated you for the good attention you gave him and perhaps he would like to have it back. Assure him that you won't interfere with his desire to have some space for himself. Let him know that his problems are not so serious as to bring a barrier between you two and also tell him that you are willing to think of your relationship in the light of a long term relationship. He seems a hard person to deal with, so none of these suggestions are going to be very easy, but at least it is something to try. Ask him out to dinner, on you, and see what he says. Good luck!
