Should I ask him if he likes me or flirt with him?

i have this friend(guy) and we have been friends for over 2 years but have just become close friends this school year. he had a girl friend at this time. we used to hang out just me and him without his girlfriend. we would play wresle(sp?) he tryed teaching me how to play drums,and sometimes he would hold me hand.he still has tghis stuff animal he "stole" from me & i talk to him on the phone for hours every day.also this may sound wierd but at the begining of the year we were throwing stuff at our friends across the bleachers and i had this mood ring i was wearing at i gave it to him to throw at them. we got yelled at and he never ended up throwing it. a few days ago he told me that he still had it. all of our friends always tell us how we would make a good couple, but we always both brush it off. he and his girl friend broke up a week ago. i like him. i dont know if he feels the same about me i dont want to ruin our friendship. should i just wait, ask him, or try flirting more with him and hsee if he goes with it or is uncomfortable with it?



Our Suggestion:
Try flirting first, and it sounds like he will go along with it based on what has happened in the past.

If that goes well, then tell him that you are developing feelings for him and ask how he feels about you. My guess is that he will say he likes you.

Be brave and don't give up this opportunity!
