Visitor's Question: i'm 25, she's 24. hello again, this is in reference to a question i had a month ago with my g-friend and her "guy friend". we've been dating for five years, she did break up w/me and worked things back out a month later. but anyway after 5 years, she all of a sudden got this new guy friend she works with at her restaurant. she says their just friends, but hangs out with him more than me. going out drinking together, and and most of the time with other friends. i only know about this kid b-cause she was acting shady. i caught her twice with him after she told me something different. and now i'm crazy cause i found out where she was and confronted her. so she doesn't want me around her friends but we can hang out privately. we've talked about it before, and she still doesn't stop hanging out with him, and avoids me when with friends. she's lies a lot, and is honestly getting drunk 4 nights a week. she's not sleeping over his house that i know but she is always hanging out with him and not me. i just want my girlfriend back, the way it was. i invested a long time with her and want to get married and grow old w/her. i'm just not sure if it's going to happen. Our Suggestion: The only way you are going to have things back the old way is to tell her exactly what you want and that if she doesn't change you are gone. The downside of this approach is that she might just say "bye, bye" So, the best you can realistically do is to have a long, serious talk with her and ask her what's going on. You might not like the answers but at least it will be out in the open. She is not spending enough time with you and she won't let you join her crowd. This is unfair to you.
