This past weekend few things were said with the guy I'm dating for four months. We went out to have a few drinks and he asked if I wanted to spend the night (we have not slept together)and I told him if I didn't have this race in the morning I would but I'm being depended on. He asked me if I trust him enough to lead the way, lead the way to what? I dropped him off and went home, yesterday I was helping him move into this apartment and I met his female roommate and she was nice, cute but not really pretty. I finally met his family and as he was talking to his mother he told his mother there would be no conflict that he doesn't think she is even that pretty, and he looks over to me and says I'm being honest which made me feel better. He also made a little joke that after the move he was going to break up with me because he used me for my truck. I'm just trying to make sense of it all, can you break up with someone without officially being considered a couple? How does this work, do you still need to get asked to be bf/gf or does it happen naturally?



Our Suggestion:
It sounds like he is trying to get you to have sex with him.

After four months you should consider yourself as girlfriend and boyfriend and he was joking about the truck.

He sounds sincere in his feelings for you and considerate too.

You should trust him and keep a good relationship going.
