ok. i have always been the jealous type and i dont knwo why. i guess its cause i grew up with eczema. and i always look at other girls and think how pretty they are. i have been with my man for 4 months. but i keep getting upset. i want him to want me. i know that he wants other girls. wenever we go out or something he is always checking out girls. it just breaks my heart. wat do i do? how do i stop being so jealous?

Jealousy is a very nasty habit and can ruin a good relationship.

Get rid of this habit as fast as you can because it can grow and when you are older it could make your life even more miserable.

Forget about your excema... obviously your boyfriend likes you and that should be proof enough that you are attractive. And, please, stop being jealous when he checks out other girls. You can tell him that it hurts you when he does it, but face facts many boys check out other girls (and vice versa).

Whenever a jealous thought comes into your mind order it to go away saying something like "Go away, he likes me and nobody else." Jealous thoughts will eventually give up trying to hurt you after they are told to go away many times.

Keep the conversation going with your boyfriend in a friendly, open and honest discussion about what makes you feel good and what hurts you. This will build trust which is one thing that makes jealousy go away.
