well, the story is that i just asked this guy out a few days ago. he said yes and we have been dating for about 4 days or so. at school he will talk to me but its kind of forced.

we were at his house one day and we were sitting on the couch. another person was there and i thought he would sit next to me. instead he sat next to the other person. when i finally moved over to him he seemed to kind of move away. i would move a little closer and he would move away. i dont know if he really likes me or not.... i mean he was the one that called me for the date but he seems to want to keep as far away from me as possible. is he just shy? or maybe he doesnt have felings for me? i cant talk to him about it. we just started dating. i might have my friend nonchalantly talk to him about it. maybe that would make him more comfortable and open if he talks to a friend and not a girlfriend. what do you think would be the easiest way for both of us?



Our Suggestion:
First, give your relationship a little time to grow.

He sounds like he is afraid of PDA (public displays of affection). This is not unusual for males especially at the beginning of a romance.

Give him time and treat him carefully and he will learn to behave in a better way for you.

If he still is acting stand-offish after another week then it is time to have a talk with him.
