Do you have some advice for this person?

i have been on and off with this guy for a year but we have been together almost 3 years we just recently have been haveing problems and i asked him a question because he has cheated on me 3 times before and he came over and left like a half hour later he said he was tired it came off a little odd because he works nights and can stay up forever so i asked him if he was cheating on me. he said no then took off he didn't call me the rest of that night and all day the next day until he said i love you but i hate you because you don't trust me with his past history i don't know if that is possible anymore but i really love him so that night about midnight he calls to save that if i trusted him i wouldn't have asked that but i do trust him and i can't get him to understand that and to forgive me for hurting his feelings so midnight that night he broke up with me he is my world and i don't know what to do with out him please help me!

He has a history of cheating on you.

So you have every right to wonder if he is doing it again. And, asking him is the best way to bring up the subject.

So, you have done everything right so far.

He is the one who needs to prove himself to you. Instead of breaking up with you, he should be trying to make things better.

You only need to keep the lines of communication open, let him know you love him but that you need to build up more trust in him. Communications is the way to build trust and other aspects of your relationship. So keep talking!
