should i break up with him and pull my own life back together or keep trying to work out the relation shipSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Me and my boyfreind have been dating for over 3 years. when we first meet he was very unhappy and had alot of problems. he did have a hard life so i thought all he needed was someone to love him and help. we moved in togherer so he could have a nicer place to live. now he always complains about the naibors or the size of the apartment. he always complains about money, over the past 2 years i have lent him over $3,000 brought him 2 cars, pay for all the food and pay almost 90% of the rent. he always says he will pay me back but never does. i have asked him about it a couple of times and even told him i was starting to become resentful of it. i feel like hes mooching off of me. he used to be nice and fun to be aroudn so i never minded much, but now hes grumpy and always complains about stuff. i have asked him if we could talk about if a couple of times and he just laguhts about it. i have recently gotten him a job interview at a good company where my freind works, the job would have been alot eazyer then his current job and paid alot more moeny. he totaly acted like a jerk on the interview and i felt imbarassed since i recomended him. then after he told me how he acted i yelled at him and he turned it around, like i was being mean for yelling. i dont know what to do, i dont want to live like this for the rest of my life. im starting to think that hes one of those people whos never happy, or never helps them selves, but i think i still love him becuase i worry about what his life will be like with out me to help him. should i break up with him and pull my own life back together or keep trying to work out the relation ship Our Suggestion: He's had three years to get his act together. He has failed you on most areas. And his recent actions have only made it worse. If I thought he could improve, my advice would be to stick with him. However, that is not the case and my advice is to dump him and try to bring your own life back into good shape. Sorry you are in this situation! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
