I am in love with my ex-girlfriend but she seems like she has moved on

Hey,
I do not know what to do. I know that I am in love with my ex-girlfriend but she seems like she has moved on after dating me for one year and two month. We only separated about one month ago and she already dating other people, and that thought just kills me. Personally I am not able to do that. I talk to her from time to time and we try to be friends either though I told her what my feeling are for her, but it seems like we are drifting farther apart every day. I tried to get her back but, it did not work and I still have few things to try but I predict the same luck. I was her longest relationship and I know she had strong feeling for me and I do not want that to go away. For the summer she is leaving for two month and I think that will only give her a chance to forget what we shared. There are some things that she wants me to change about my self, but that takes long time and it does not seem like she is willing to stick around for that. So it does not seem like I have a wining situation here, does this really mean it OVER? I believe that you can work on thing no mater what but I have no idea what is happening here. :(

Unfortunately, at this point she seems to have moved on.

It's been a while and she has already dated other guys. It is nice that you can still talk with her but probably won't be enough to bring her back.

And, as you said she is going on a two month vacation this summer and that will give her more time to forget you.

The only chance, as I see it, is for you to make the changes to yourself that she wants. You said it would take a long time, but why? If you care for her that much you could make the effort. And you have two months during which to try. We can all change ourselves if we care enough.

But, as you said it does not look like a winning hand.
