Do you have some advice for this person?

About a month ago while at a party, a guy who I was talking to began to kiss me. I didn't resist initially (I was drunk) but broke it off before it had a chance to escelate. Noone saw it, and its not something that will ever get back to my boyfriend. Should I tell him about this? I do not want to hurt him and I know he would be devestated by this. I personally feel terrible for doing it, and if anything, it has made me love him more than I ever have in our 5 year relationship.



Our Suggestion:
While I normally advocate full openness and honesty with a partner, in this case I am not going to do so.

This was a brief, one-time, drunken incident which you fully regret.

My advice is to keep this to yourself.

But if it happens again or if you find yourself agonizing over it then you should let your partner know that something is troubling you.
