I met a girl online that lives in Bulgaria and I live in the U.S.Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I met a girl online that lives in Bulgaria and I live in the U.S. we have been talking on the phone for 4 months. Everything was going great we found we had very much in common. I would talk to her for many many hours on the phone and she insisted all the time that I call her that often. Which I didn't mind cause I had strong feelings for her. Well she told me one day that she loved me and I felt the same for her. Her boss at work got her a work visa so she could visit me and he was buying her plane ticket. Well 3 days before she was to arrive we were on the phone and I got disconnected everytime I tried to call her back it said all circuits are busy. We have had this problem quite a few times and it was never an issue we both understood. But this day she was upset when I finally was able to call her back. Well I talked to her everything seemed to be fine. I had some things to take care of for her arrival so I only had 2 hours of sleep till I was supposed to call her again. I called her and I was could hardly talk I was so tired. She told me that I sounded tired and I should get some sleep. I asked her if she was angry and she said no. Well I called her a few hours later and out of the blue she says please don't call me anymore my feelings have changed if I want to talk with you I will email you to call me and she hung up. Well I called her the next day and also wrote her email. She again hung up on me. Well the next day she emailed me and said I could call her. I talked with her and she said that we could still be friends. She told me she just didn't feel the same about me anymore and that she couldn't explain it. The next time I called her we shared some of our old conversations and laughs. I told her that I still loved her. She wants to be friends but I want her back as more then friends. I'm not sure what to do. I don't want to lose communication with her so I agreed to be friends. Now when I talk with her she sounds happy to hear my voice, but she still insists on only being friends. Any ideas on what to do to try to win her over again? Our Suggestion: Usually you have to worry about foreign women using U.S. men to get a green card. In this case the opposite is happening...she wants to only be friends. My advice is to maintain your friendship and see if it grows back to love on her part. Be there whenever she needs you and have a positive outlook. It certainly would be helpful if she could explain why her feelings changed. It seems like she was scared of visiting the U.S. At least she will be friends and talk with you... that is in your favor. Maybe you could offer to pay her way to the U.S. for a vacation. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
