I don't want to ruin what could be a happy life with my boyfriendSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years and 3 months. I am now a senior in high school and he is a sophmore in college. We've had a bad first year together with his exs and he even cheated but things are pulling themselves together I guess. Anyway I love him very much but he says he doesn't know if he 'loves me like that' yet. He wants me to stick it out and see if I am the one for him, but as I said, I'm a senior in high school and I don't know if I want to wait that long because what if in the end he doesn't love me and I wasted my entire high school over nothing. These are the times I'm supose to be having fun and partying with other guys, ones that actually already know they love me because I've had a few honestly tell me that, but as much as I want that I don't want to ruin what could be a happy life with my boyfriend. What should I do? Our Suggestion: Your boyfriend is giving you half a relationship not a full one. You deserve to spend your high school time enjoying life and going out with boys that truly love you. This is the time for learning about life and taking part in life's adventures. If you are going to college, you will have even more opportunities, but the high school years are the one's you will remember most. Tell you boyfriend to put up or shut up. If he can't make a commitment, then my advice is to cut him loose and enjoy your freedom. Just don't fall back into a habit of finding one guy and falling for him right away. Test the field and see what is out there. My best wishes are with you! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
