Getting Comfortable with GirlsSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: i sometimes feel as if i am losing something by no having a girlfriend as all my friends have been in and out of lots of relationships. i can't even make friends wih girls cause i feel very shy and i can' t even talk to my younger sisters friends. i am in college and still lonely please help. what can i do to approach a girl and make her mine. Our Suggestion: Like everything else in life, it takes practice to be comfortable talking to anyone new - boys OR girls. It doesn't just happen. The only way you can start to get used to doing it is to take it in small stages, and to actively make it something to work on. Think of it as a homework assignment that you have every day, just like anything else you're trying to learn. Every day, make one effort to talk to a new girl, whether it's just saying "hi" as you pass in the hallways or "what time is it?" or "What was that homework assignment again?" or whatever. Practice, practice, practice. That's the only way you are going to get comfortable with girls. And the aim isn't to "get" a girl and to make her yours. Girls aren't possessions! The aim is to get a girl to be your BEST FRIEND which is what your girlfriend should always be for you. To have a girl that is a best friend, the girl has to start as your friend. So work on finding girls you would be happy to hang out with. What hobbies do you have? Get to know girls who are interested in those things. That gives you something to talk about to start off with, and to build that friendship ... --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
