Due to this she is looking for an apartment to move outSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Ok, so i have been going out with this girl for 6 months. We broke up about a week ago. She told me that she feels i am not giving her the time she needs, or giving her the time i should with how much a care for her and love her. She has been my best friend in the whole world for over 7 years now. I have slowly fallen in love with her over those 7 years, but she did not realise she was in love with me until about 8 months ago. Her parents live four hours away and have for two years but she wanted to stay here with all ger friends and finish school. So over the past 2 years she has lived with 2 of her friends families. Finally in december the friend she was living with told her she wanted her out. So my best friend had no where to go so obviously i talked to my parents and they agreed she could come live in our basement because there was no way i was going to lose her. So we started going out about a month and a half after she moved in. Everything was great almost perfect. we talked about how we were going to be together forever and ever and have a family and do everything imaginable. Well now she has dumped me. Her main reason being i didnt give her enough time and claimed she wasnt my top priority, but in reality she is by so far. It was hard though with her living here, because when one of us was home they expected the other to be home with them. Due to this she is looking for an apartment to move out. She says she wants some space for awhile and wants to be able to do her own thing, and she wants to make sure im the one she wants to be with for the rest of her life. She tells me she loves me and cares about me more than she will ever love or care about anyone. She also tells me that if she meets a guy she is going to go with him. This absolutely kills me because i am so in love with her. She tells me if she finds a guy she wants to be with the rest of eternity that is not me, i shouldnt care because me and her are still going to be the best of friends. I do not want to be the best of friends, i want to be the guy she wants to be with forever and ever. I dont want her to need another guy to decide if im what she really wants cuz it makes me feel that her love for me is not strong enough to tell her that alone. I was just wondering if you had any advice on what i should do about the whole thing. SHould i let her go with other guys, and take a chance that she wont find someone she wants to be with and realise she wants to be with me. Or is there anything i can do to get back with her before she has a chance to meet someone else. Our Suggestion: You two should be able to figure this out. You don't want her to move out and meet somebody else. Have a long, loving, honest conversation and try to find some way to resolve her problem with your not giving her enough time (in her mind). Ask her to do interesting things with you like eating out, or taking a walk in the park or by a river or lake. Give her more attention than even she wants. My bet is that she will respect the effort you are putting into the relationship and give you another chance. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
