My girlfriend of 5 years broke up me me a month and a half ago. We still talk but it feels like I'm doing all the work. She has never gave me any indication that this was completely over, she has said she needs time and space to find out who she is, and told me If you want us to get back together I need this time and space. But she has also said to me I don't wanna cut of contact with you.



Our Suggestion:
Take her at her word.

Give her time and space but don't cut off contact with her.

Your best bet is to remain best friends with her and check in with her every so often to ask her how she is doing and if you can help in any way.

Eventually she will make up her mind and if you have been standing by her but not pushing her she may come back to you.
