I just am still really afraid that shes letting me go

Do you have some advice for this person?

Well, I called my ex, last night, left a message, and she did not call back. Her dad said it was prolly cuz she was tired. I guess right now it sounded like she just wanted to be friends. How do I know if she is moving on or not? Still scared of getting hurt. I am going to give it time. Just feel something different about this one than I have my previous breakups, probably because it felt like she was my best friend and i loved her no matter what. But I do not know if that is my own self pity or if fate really does have a good part to play in my life. How long should I wait for her? Should i hold off on the cell phone meeting? I feel just as confused as she does. Thanks alot for writing back it really does help. When she broke up with me she cited personality differences and Professional differences, even tho i did everything for her. I just am still really afraid that shes letting me go. But on the other hand she was looking forward to my phone call last night. Confusing huh.

You are in such a confused part of your relationship that you are going to have to play it by ear.

Be very attuned to anything she says (without obsessing over it). Give her every opportunity to express happy thoughts and especially about you two.

All of this is not going to be easy. She is confused, you are confused. Hopefully some light will shine soon.
