I am at an awkward stage in my life where i don't feel like i appeal to womenSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I am at an awkward stage in my life where i don't feel like i appeal to women because im not hot like the guys they hang around with. First off there is this girl i want to approach but see if you looked at me then at her you would laugh. Yes i have friends and im not real ugly or anyhting like that. Even though i sure feel like it because i can't talk to a girl like her because she acts like she doesn't wanna be seen with me. but if you were to compare the guys she hangs out with to me, you would think i had no chance. But i was wondering is it possible to get to know someone when you get done with your awkward stage. See, i had a very brief converstaion with this girl over a book. And then this year i see her again and i'm like holy cow. Now i see her everyday but not in class. I've tried to talk to one of her friends but it isn't working. I really do like this girl and i want to get to know her. PLease, somehow help me with this issue. I would greatly appreciate it and sorry for taking up so much room, thank you for your time. Our Suggestion: You have two things working against you. One is that you are awkward and shy and secondly the "hot" guys don't feel that way (awkward and shy.) Try to get over your shy stage by making repeated efforts to interact with all the kids you see at school. If you look around there are plenty of guys that don't look hot but their personality is. If you start saying hi to people with a smile and using their name, they will remember you. Perhaps the first few times they might wonder why you are talking to them but after a while, they won't think twice. Try to say hi to someone new every day. Pretty soon you will be considered hot too. Doing all this is a little harder than it sounds, but once you get over the initial shyness you will be fine and you will be talking with hot girls.
