I told him I wanted to be with him forever and he said that didn't want to commitSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: A month ago my boyfriend and I broke up. We had been together for 4 years. I told him I wanted to be with him forever and he said that didn't want to commit. A week later I found him hooking up with another girl. She was a friend of a friend visiting from another state. My ex-boyfriend and I have had sex in the last month. Last Monday he called, said that I frustrate him, and then came over and had a romantic night. Then, I find out that this weekend he went to visit the girl I found him hooking up with a week after we broke up. He got a hotel room with her for the weekend. I know for a fact that they were not seeing each other before we broke up. My ex-boyfriend keeps telling me that he loves me, but that he has to do this now and get it out of his system, or it will happen 10 years down the line. I am completely devastated and hurt. All I did was love him and he treats me like this. How could he move on so quickly? When he says he still loves me and that this breakup is eating at him all the time. Is this a rebound relationship? I am so hurt. Please help. Our Suggestion: Take him at his word. He is rebounding big time. And he says that if he doesn't do it now it will happen in 10 years. Maybe he knows what he is talking about. If you want to wait out his "temporary insanity" you may end up with something good. But if you don't have the belief in him then cut him loose and find someone new. It's a big world out there... jump into it! Good luck. George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
