Do you have some advice for this person?

I met this guy at work a number of months ago and although he is based two hours away, we somehow would find a reason to talk on the phone everyday. I left my job a month ago and we still talk all the time and see each other about once a week. When we get together we can talk for hours, but this guy who is 10 years older then me and as I understand it is fairly inexperienced in realtionships, he won't make a move. He knows how I feel about him and I have asked him numberous times what he is thinking and he just blows it off, either by saying it should be a face to face conversation if we are on the phone or just changing the subject. I just don't know what else to do, I really like this guy, but I am not sure how is feeling about me? How do I get him to talk to me?



Our Suggestion:
Talk to him openly and sincerely.

Tell him you want to talk about your relationship and don't let him slip away from it. If you are on the phone then tell him you want to talk about it on the phone.

You two are failing to communicate. Have some long, honest, trusting, open, caring, and deep conversations with him. If he won't go along, tell him that you really are committed to sharing feelings with him. Tell him it is crucial that you do. He is obviously inexperienced with sharing feelings, so you will have to step him slowly through the paces. It may be obvious to you what is necessary to improve your relationship, but it seems certain that he hasn't a clue.

You have to keep giving him the clues. Slowly but surely.
