I'm in Love - How do I Tell Her?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hi. I am 15 years old and I am in love with a girl in my class. The problem is that I don't know if she feels the same way about me and I am too embarassed to tell her I love her because she may just laugh in my face. I think about her every night and she is my last thought when I go to sleep and she is my first thought when I wake up. Please tell me what to do Our Suggestion: OK first, just to clarify how most people talk about love, love is really about knowing someone completely, understanding their good and bad sides, being able to share anything with them, trusting them completely. So love is something you develop after being with someone for months. It sounds like you are infatuated with her and want to get to know her better - especially if you aren't really able to talk with her about it :) But infatuation is great! It's the perfect way to start out in a relationship. You enjoy what you know about her and want to know more about her. All great relationships begin with great friendships, and the best type of relationship is one that has a best friend pairing at its core. So work on being best friends with her. Spend time with her, talk with her every chance you get, offer to take her to a movie as friends, suggest fun faires or festivals or museum trips or whatever. Share your own hobbies, go with her to her hobbies. The more time you spend with her, the closer your friendship. The more you become best friends, the better you'll be as boyfriend-girlfriend. It's all a continual evolution. --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
