My boyfriend and I have been together for more than 3 years, and we are both virgins. We've decided that we want to make love. We've talked about it loads so that we are both sure we wanna do it. I've heard experiences from my friends and read about it too. The thing is that I've heard bad things about using a condom the 1st time you ever have sex, because it might create too much friction and hurt way much more that what it usually does or that its really not that convinient and much more (and its scaring me that it might hurt me, now I'm afraid of losing my virginity while using a condom). I've talked about it with my boyfriend and he thinks using a condom is the right thing (for many different reasons) but I thought that I really want a professional's opinion... someone that could really tell me the facts and give me some advice on this. I would really appreciate it if you could help me on this one.

I did an internet search and didn't find anything that specifically addresses your question which leads me to believe that condoms have very little affect on your experience. Just make sure you are fully aroused and lubricated.

Now, another option is using a female condom.
