There are No SparksSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I have been in a relationship for four months and he was the one I had my first kiss with but now all of a sudden I feel like I need to break up with him he is really nice and funny but I don't feel any sparks, but I am afraid to break up with him because his birthday is coming up but I don't want to waste mine and his time with this relationship what should I do? Our Suggestion: I think you're missing a huge opportunity here!! Most people in life SEARCH high and low for someone that is fun to be with and that they like. A relationship is NOT about sparks. Ignore the MTV images and the movie romances. Those sparks MAYBE happen in the first few weeks of dating. That's the caveman leftovers of what drew people together back in the Ice Age. But after those sparks are gone, a relationship is about two people who ENJOY each other. What you have with this guy is something that many people search for for years and years. You really should treasure that you have a guy you enjoy being with. Stop hunting for "sparks". A spark doesn't hold you when you're sad, a spark doesn't encourage you to be your very best. It's your *guy* that does those things. --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
