Getting Her to Notice Me Suggest Advice Do you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I'm a sophmore in highschool, and there's this girl who I really like. She seems nice, attractive, and has a lot of friends. The problem is I can't get her to notice me. I've thought about slipping a rose in her locker, or putting a note in her violin case, but am to nervous to do it. Is it a good idea? My question is, How do I get her to notice me? Maybe be friends?? Our Suggestion: While movies make it a cool idea to slip anonymous notes into lockers and such, you also have probably seen from movies the THOUSANDS of ways that this can make things even worse. A relationship between two people is all about the *personal* contact and that can only be done in person. There are huge, huge opportunities for misunderstanding and confusion if you do things via notes or bizarre anonymous gifts :) So yes, DEFINITELY the best thing to do is to become friends with her. Talk to her. Talk to her. Keep talking to her. Get to know her. Let her get to know you. The more you talk, the better. The more friendly you get, the better you can talk.
