I learned not to date coworkers last time, but this one seems more matureSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: There is this girl that I have only known for a couple months, met her when I worked at a different store for my company for a few days. I am transfering to her store permanently to get away from my ex girlfriend who I work with. There are a couple problems I'm worried about. She is thinking about breaking up with her current boyfriend, which if it doesn't happen I'm not going to try. I do not break up people to get with somebody. Since we are both coming out, or will be coming out of a bad breakup I don't want this to be a rebound, short-term deal. Secondly we aren't as close I would like to be as friends yet, so I'm not sure if I should approach her about how I feel. We talk about once a week, probably more once we are coworkers. And the last thing concerning me is I learned not to date coworkers last time, but this one seems more mature and I think we can handle that relationship. Should I tell her how I feel, or see if our progressing friendship will develop romantically on it's own, if at all? Our Suggestion: My advice is to give this thing time to develop on its own. You run the risk of scaring her off if you tell her you feel before she is ready for her. She might be more ready after you have worked together for a while and she knows you better. Of course if she breaks up with her boyfriend then you should make your move. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
