Visitor's Question: ill try to make this real short. i have really liked this girl for a few years now and i was always uncertain of how she felt, there has always been this "uncomfortableness". well today she called me and brought it up and we talked for over an hour, i totally poured out my heart to her and she was shocked, she didnt know. it turns out we both think the other is perfect the only difference is she doesnt like me like that. before i hung up i had to ask her if she thought it would change with us, and she replied "she didnt know, it might" she said "but i will tell you this, if it does i will tell you right away, i wont hesitate, ill tell you i want to go out". i said "well let me just say this, i will respect your choice to be friends but it could be tommorrow or next week or next year but if you change your mind the answer will always be yes, you will always have an open invitation with me, if maybe someday you start thinking about people or us and you start to think about giving it a chance, the answer will be yes" and she said ok. her response made me happy because she answered me immediatly. also my parents and friends i have shared this with have told me now that we have gotten this out in the open and she knows how i feel and has all of this on her mind tonite, she may change her mind, if not right away, someday. am i right to be cautiously optomistic about what she said? what do you guys think? i hope so!!! I really feel we will be together. Our Suggestion: I think you should be very optimistic. Her response was very much in your favor. True, she still has a boyfriend and that is a large hurdle to get over. But at least you got it all out in the open now and you won't feel so uncomfortable.
