Every relationship has its ups and downs.

You two are perfectly normal if you have an occasional disagreement, or even a quarrel. What you need to avoid is getting bogged down in a lot of petty bickering which gets you nowhere.

One way to put a stop to bickering is to use a signal to tell each other that you should stop the subject. The peace sign is a good one. You have to both agree upfront that when the peace sign is shown then you drop the argument.
